Tomorrow morning there will be a school assembly. All students are encouraged to wear Hedges Gear or school colors, green and yellow!

School and Bus Route Closure Information
Please access the district web site at http://www.sd5.k12.mt.us/ for detailed information concerning school and bus route closure procedures. You can also tune to KOFI (1180AM, 103.9 FM) and Bee Broadcasting (98.5 FM or 106.3FM)radio stations to obtain the most current information if we have school or bus route closures.

Snacks

We are running low on snacks. It's hard to believe that we have gone through 20 boxes of graham crackers alreay! If you happen to be out and about shopping this weekend we would greatly appreciate if you would bring in a snack for the class. Most kids are getting tired of graham crackers, some other snack ideas are goldfish, cheez-its, pretzels, saltines, ritz, etc..

Brrr...

Please be sure your child comes dressed for the weather. They will go out to recess three times everyday. Snowpants, boots, hats, gloves and scarves are stronly encouraged.

Original Works

Tomorrow you will find an envelope in your child's BEE book. This envelope is a fund raiser that Hedges PTO is putting on. Each envelope contains art work from your child that can be turned into wonderful Christmas gifts for relatives, friends or yourself. Coffee mugs, mouse pads, t-shirts are a few of the great gifts that your child's art can be displayed on. If you would like to support this great fundrasier please return your order form and your child's artwork to school no later than November 10th.

Healthy Snacks

Parents - Hedges School, along with the other three title one schools in Kalispell, received a federal food grant to provide fresh fruits and vegetables outside of the breakfast and lunch program. The snacks are delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays. These snacks will be encouraged but voluntary for kids to consume. All of the snacks are individually packaged.
