Well, the weather is not wanting to cooperate, but I am going to say that we WILL be going to Woodland Park. The Weather Channel is calling for 50% rain, but I am going to go ahead and be a gambler and hope that it doesn't rain on us!
Please dress your child appropriately for the weather. Reminder, we are WALKING to Woodland Park. I am still planning on leaving the school around 9 and returning by 1:00. We may have to adjust the times if it does indeed decide to rain.

Woodland Park
Thank you to those who have volunteered to bring an item to our barbeque. If anyone else would like to bring something, we are still in need of hot dogs, buns and juice.
Also, just wanted to clarify that your child's last day of school is still June 9th (My last day is May 27th)! I have lots of great activities planned for them for the last week of school, including a field trip to Lone Pine Park with the other two Kindergarten classes.

Kindergarten Families! May 3, 2011
What a year! Hard to believe we have one month left of school!
May 27th will be my last day of school this year; I will be taking my maternity leave during the month of June. To celebrate our last day together, I am planning a field trip down to Woodland Park, weather permitting! While there, we will play, feed the ducks and have a barbeque. Please circle one item you would be willing to bring. I order for our trip to be successful I am in need of a few parent volunteers. If you are able to join us please let me know. I also need a parent who would be willing to drive our goodies from the school to the gazebo, charcoal, hotdogs, juice, etc...
Thank you for an outstanding year!
~Mrs. Wyant

Homework
Welcome back! I can't wait to get back into the swing of things and I see most of the kiddos are ready as well! We have lots to do in the next couple of months.
Once a month I will be sending a Homework Activity list, the first one will be coming home today. Please do one item every day. They are quick tasks and shouldn't take more than a minute or two. At the end of the month please sign and return back to school!
FROG goals. December was quite a crazy month and we got off on our FROG Goals. We are going to hit them hard from here on out. Our next goal to be tested is counting to 100 by 10's.
